Clear Aligners in Dallas

Clear Aligners in Dallas

What Are Clear Aligners?

Clear aligners can straighten mild to moderate misalignments discreetly and without the discomfort of traditional metal braces. Clear aligner therapy is also often faster than traditional braces, and because you can remove them to eat and drink, many patients find them easier to take care of too!

The Benefits of Clear Aligner Therapy

Clear aligners are practically invisible, so no one will know you’re wearing them. Many patients report that clear aligners feel more comfortable than traditional braces, too. And since they’re removable, it’s easier to brush and floss your teeth without maneuvering around brackets. Call us today to learn more!

The Clear Aligner Treatment Process in Dallas

Step One: Consultation

The first step of the treatment process is a consultation with our Dallas dentist. This helps us get to understand where you’re at and what your expectations are for treatment. It also helps us explain the process to you in detail. Then we’ll look at your x-rays and evaluate your bite to find out if you’re a good candidate for clear aligner therapy.

Step Two: Impressions/Digital Imaging

If, together, we decide that clear aligners are right for you, we’ll take some digital scans of your mouth and start designing a treatment plan just for you! Once we have some diagnostic records and scans, we can make a 3D model and show you exactly what your newly straight smile will look like. After we get your approval, we’ll have your clear aligners custom-made based on your 3D scans.

Step Three: Fitting & Next Steps

Once your trays are ready, we’ll have you back for a fitting to make sure everything is comfortable. We’ll give you your first set of aligners and instructions. Each set of aligners is usually worn for 20-22 hours per day for a couple of weeks. We will periodically have you come in to check your progress, and if all is well, we’ll send you home the next few sets of aligners and repeat this process until your treatment is complete.
